JULIE ANDRIJESKI, violin
RENÉ SCHIFFER, cello
JEANNETTE SORRELL, harpsichord
GEORGE ROTH, actor, as J.S. BACH

THE SETTING: the bustling Bach household. Each of J.S. Bach’s sons had his own distinct musical personality, and did not see eye to eye with Dad (whom the sons called “old powdered wig”).

THE DRAMA: Actors George Roth and Tom White join Jeannette Sorrell and Apollo’s Fire for this lively investigation of some fiery family dynamics.

THE MUSIC: virtuoso concertos by J.S. Bach, C.P.E Bach, and J.C.F. Bach

“Apollo’s Fire sounds like it’s been playing together for something like forever. Virtuosity runs rampant.” – INDIANAPOLIS STAR

“An avalanche of emotions and colors . . . catapulted by this zealous ensemble.”
– THE PLAIN DEALER
