The now famous Johann Sebastian Bach competed with three other composers for a job in Leipzig - and he came in 4th place! We'll meet the now-forgotten competitors of Bach, get to know their music, and also get to meet the baroque flute and violin in action. The audience becomes the jury for the "competition." Were the Leipzig judges right? Jeannette Sorrell leads a debate about which composer is best, before we take the official vote.
